I've created a new blog. Yeah, that's right.

So I'm not creative with blog titles..... sue me!
And before you say a word about me taking a break, just remember... it's been over a month! Give a sister a break!
So if you want to read it, coolio. If not, that's okay too.........I guess.
See you on the other side.

Ciao!
I think that I am going to take a break from blog-world.
I haven't really taken the time out to read (a real book) in a while, and that makes me sad. I love to read, and I feel like work/technology has stopped me. The sad thing? We don't have internet at our apartment, so I really don't have any excuse whatsoever.
So there you have it! This is my exit... for a while. I'm thinking I need some time to focus on that very very sexy husband I have, my spiritual progress, spending time with friends, and enjoying the alone time we have right now. Yes, I could do that and have a blog, but I like to be an extremist sometimes...
(Did I mention I'm reading a book about extremes and how they can turn into vices?)
....
When going through a breakup in my dating days, I literally had to "delete" them from my life in order to move on. It's as if I need the complete absence of something to really move forward and progress. After some time has passed, things get better and I'm able to come back with a fresh outlook and with a new light. And maybe some interesting posts?
I won't press my luck... ;)
Adios!

Read. Breathe. Repeat.
I'm not sure I'd call my emotions of the future fear, but uncertainty definitely has a hold on me. I've been trying to just live in the moment, be happy with what I have, and relax rather than fret about where we're going to be at the end of October. It's become a taboo subject in our home, and everytime we bring it up, we both end up getting flustered/emotional/frustrated/tired. I think we both just want to make the best decision possible, and we want it to be what the Lord wants for us as well.
So with that, obviously we haven't had much progress in deciding what to do. We'll get there, it just may take time. I'm guessing that Heavenly Father wants me to learn a bit about patience... imagine that.

On a happier note... V-Day is coming up! And I do love-o-love V-Day. Any day that gives us an extra opportunity to be extra cheesy, I say yes!

Here She Is...
Oh and don't you worry-- she'll be getting dyed pretty.darn.soon. It needs a little somethin' somethin'.
(And I can't wait until I get some bigger thick framed glasses....)

Eye Candy?
Here are some things that are currently eye candy-- and will probably stay that way due to the amount of money one would need to spend to buy said eye candy. So without further adieu, here is some thangs that I just really, really want.
A girl can dream, right? Because that is precisely what it is....dreaming. :) I need to go thrifting really soon...
On another note... I finally got into the hair salon. And... I chopped my hair. And... I love it. Absolutely love it. It was just what I needed. I feel refreshed, cute, and styled. I've finally accepted the fact that long hair doesn't fly with me. As much as I long for it, it aint gonna happen. My hair is too thin and limp and stringy. It always ended up in a bun/pony tail and it was kind-of ugly. Without the kind-of part. Pictures will come soon!

Maybe...
...this is why I should have more pictures of myself taken.
Because it is a treat to find pictures of my mother around my age.

Is it just me...
or does the beard just fit Conan O'Brien? I mean, really...
Want to hear a list of things I haven't been doing lately?
- Running. Every morning I promise myself I'm going to get on that treadmill... and every night I kick myself for not getting on that treadmill... It's not like I am sorta planning on running a half marathon or anything.
- Breaking up with the Doctor. Yeah, I know what I said. Let it go. I love him, he loves me. I'm 95% sure they have Dr. Pepper in Heaven anyway so don't even worry about it.
- Utilizing my free time.. unless you count watching 30 Rock... alot.
- Updating my blog with any useful information or funny stories. Sometimes I wonder why I update it at all... and then I just forget it and remind myself that writing down Teran life will benefit my posterity in ways I don't understand right now. I also get really, super bored at work.
- Taking enough pictures. I'm guessing that Alex and I (and another reference to posterity...) will want to remember/see how we looked during our pre-children lives.. but regardless, they aint gettin' taken.
- Gone to the hair salon in... I think 4 months? Not even for a trim. Nada. Nothin. It's terrible. I see the effects on my hair because of this. It's not pleasant. Feels frumpy. Must do this soon. Going insane. Maybe this is why no pictures have been taken as of late....
I think what I need is some really good music, a really good run, and a really hot shower.
*Side note: When calling OSU to get some information on our quest to find out where to go, I was pleased to hear the people working for NOC/OSU admissions had a thick, unmistakable hick accent. It may or may not have made my day. Oklahoma is a pretty awesome place.

So there's this guy I know..
Meet Alex.
This is a guy who... when we're having an argument or having a difficult time, suggests that we go for a drive up to the temple. Our most spiritual conversations are when we're on a drive, especially when we're heading to or from the temple. This is a guy who... is very tender hearted. He always cares about my feelings, and is always willing to do anything to make me happy. I've learned that he is a very loyal person, and even though he can get down on himself, it's never merited. He's wonderful. This is a guy who... loves talking about the future. We have many conversations involving our future together--kids, a house, living the dream. This is a guy who... has an incredible knowledge of the scriptures. We teach primary children (ages 10-11) and they all will go completely silent when he's explaining a prinicple or telling a story. Many times I ask him to elaborate on something I've read in the scriptures, and he always does willingly. This is a guy who... upon first meeting him, you may be taken back by his striking features, but once you get to know him--realizing that he's extremely warm and inviting. This is a guy who... prefers to be in a one-on-one conversation rather than be the life of the party. We compliment eachother well in this aspect, because I really enjoy talking (imagine that) and he enjoys sitting back and listening. He's comfortable with who he is and doesn't need a lot of friends, just a few really good ones.
This is a guy who... makes me happy.

Quick Update
Well. Our lives have been interesting over the past few days, as we are in the process of making an important decision. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this option to even become available to us.. but life happens when you're busy making other plans. Or so it seems.
We've been given an opportunity to move to Stillwater, Oklahoma, and live rent free, so Alex can go to school full time. He would be in walking distance from school, and honestly this opportunity sounds heaven-sent.
It isn't that easy. There is much to consider and much to pray about. Though I have family in Stillwater, Alex's entire family (extended included) all live in Utah. Not only that, they are very tight knit and just wonderful people. It's hard to uproot and go somewhere, even if only for a few years. Alex is struggling with the idea, and understandably so. This is his home. We are planning on going to the temple tonight (and I'm sure many, many more times) so we can get a grasp on what we need to do.
In other news... Alex and I have decided to run a half marathon at the end of August! Yes, we are out of our minds. And yes, that means I'm going to have to give up Dr. Pepper......again. Don't judge me. Addiction is very, very real...
..until next time.

Food for Thought
Enduring adversity is not the only thing you must do to experience a happy life. Let me repeat: how you react to adversity and temptation is a critical factor in whether or not you arrive at your own "happily ever after".
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Yes, this is on my computer at work. Yes, this will be taped on my mirror at home. And yes, I will read it daily. :)

It's Amazing
...what a little de-clutter will do.
I de-activated my Facebook. Not for any other reason than I needed space. I read a statistic that 1 in every 10 people have a facebook. In the world. After reading that, I really felt like I needed to "unplug" and just have some peace and quiet. I don't need another thing adding to my laundry list of internet activity. I have a blog, and I have an e-mail. I think that's enough. Right?
We also don't have internet or cable at our place of residence... which was an adjustment, but a good one. We played a nice game of chess last night with no distractions.
In lieu of the new year, I will go for a hearty run after work-- and hopefully kick my butt in the process. [Note: My sister in law suggested that I buy a certain brand of socks for running. I received two pairs for Christmas. My life has been changed. To Balega Socks: Thank you. You have made my running experience spectacular.]
Also, the following books are currently on my nightstand- and I'm excited to jump right in:
